Dr. Michele Valiante is a licensed physician and specialist in Medical Genetics. He provides clinical genetic counseling for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, as well as prenatal and preconception genetic evaluations. His expertise includes cases of couple infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, carrier screening, and reproductive risk assessment.

In the field of adult clinical genetics, Dr. Valiante has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes, hereditary hemochromatosis and other metal storage disorders, metabolic diseases, isolated and syndromic congenital malformations, skeletal dysplasias, collagenopathies, genodermatoses, phacomatoses, and inherited neurological disorders.

He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” where he also completed a PhD in Human Biology and Medical Genetics. He later obtained his specialization in Medical Genetics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata.”

Since 2021, Dr. Valiante has served as Senior Medical Officer at the Complex Operational Unit of the Medical Genetics Laboratory at San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome.

Since 2018, he has been a lecturer in training and continuing education courses for first aid personnel.

He is a member of the Scientific Committee of V.I.TA. – Italian Victims of Thalidomide Association, and author of numerous scientific publications in both national and international journals.
