Light Berry Tart

Light Berry Tart | UPMC Italy

Ingredients for the base:

  • 200 g whole wheat flour.
  • 50 ml coconut oil or olive oil.
  • 50 ml water.
  • 2 tablespoons of honey.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 200 g fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries).
  • 1 teaspoon of honey.
  • Juice of half a lemon.

Preparation:

  1. Mix the flour, oil, water, and honey until you get a smooth dough.
  2. Roll out the base in a tart pan and prick it with a fork.
  3. Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the berries with lemon juice and sugar for five minutes.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the base and bake for another 10 minutes.
