Melon is rich in vitamins A and C, potassium, and antioxidants. Moreover, it is high in water content, which aids hydration. Mint promotes digestion and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Ingredients:

  • 1 melon (about 1 kg), peeled and cubed.
  • Juice of one lemon.
  • 2 tablespoons of honey (optional).
  • Fresh mint leaves.

Preparation:

  1. Place the melon cubes on a tray and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  2. Blend the frozen melon with lemon juice and honey until smooth.
  3. Add fresh mint leaves and mix.
  4. Serve immediately or store in the freezer.

Usage:

  • Serve as a sauce alongside pan-seared or roasted meat (in the oven at 150-180°C).
  • Serve as a sorbet at the end of a meal.
