UPMC Academy in Italy: Integrated Breast CME Webinar

On Thursday 25 February 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., UPMC Will Host the Live Webinar “Integrated Senology Atelier", a Free Workshop Offering Participants 4.5 CME Credits.

Dr. Riccardo Masetti, Full Professor of General Surgery at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, Director of the Senology Integrated Center of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS in Rome, and President of Susan G. Komen ltalia, is the scientific director of the event.

The main objective of the webinar is to offer an example of integrated approach to senology focusing on the patient rather than just on the disease. In addition, the workshop provides an insight in the experience of the Senology Integrated Center that offers the most advanced oncological therapies and complementary therapies free of charge to help women with breast cancer reach a better psychophysical well-being during and after treatments, limit the side effects of traditional cancer therapies, and reduce the risks of recurrence. Through a multidisciplinary discussion of clinical cases, the participants will experience an effective integrated clinical approach. Thanks to the collaboration and exchange of ideas between the specialists, this approach ensures the most suitable and less invasive personalized surgical and cancer treatments, and the best opportunities for a full recovery of the patients' psychophysical well-being.

The Integrated Senology webinar, organized by UPMC in Italy and sponsored by Susan G. Komen Italia, is addressed to surgeons (all specializations), biologists (nutritionists), psychologists, radiology and radiation therapy technicians, nurses, and physical therapists.

The webinar is free for all participants and will be live streamed on Zoom. The official language is Italian.
