UPMC Salvator Mundi is Official Partner of the LUISS Sports Association

Sporting activity as an essential factor of a healthy life and well-being. In line with this cardinal principle of the hospital's healthcare activity, UPMC Salvator Mundi International Hospital signs a new agreement, becoming Official Partner of AS LUISS and, in particular, Main Sponsor of the Rowing Section. In the aftermath of UPMC Salvator Mundi's participation in the 2022 edition of "Tennis & Friends", this is an important new opportunity to highlight how interconnected and fundamental sport and health are for a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

UPMC Salvator Mundi and Associazione Sportiva LUISS share a vision of achieving psycho-physical well-being through prevention and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, in which sporting activity plays a fundamental role. A winning combination for those who want to achieve extraordinary results in sport, study, as well as in professional career.

Riccardo Manca, CEO of UPMC Salvator Mundi International Hospital, is particularly pleased with the new collaboration with Luiss, a university that has always been at the forefront of the dissemination of sports activities. "Physical activity – said Manca – is a fundamental component of a healthy and healthy lifestyle, which UPMC is strongly committed to promoting. The Group has significant experience in sports medicine that will be made available to all athletes of the University. Looking to the future, this agreement can lead to new initiatives and activities, in which sport and health are intertwined for an increasingly healthy life".

AS Luiss, which has been committed to spreading sports among the students of the University for over twenty years, now has 13 sports, 19 competitive teams and 56 top athletes, girls and boys who have been undertaking dual careers for years. All the athletes, supported by AS Luiss and the University's tutors, achieved excellent academic and competitive results. In particular, the rowing team, made up of a wide range of students, is involved in individual and group competitions and over the years has contributed to enriching the large medal collection of the Luiss Sports Association.

"This important partnership – comments AS LUISS President, Luigi Abete – is an opportunity to reiterate how fundamental well-being is in the academic path of all students. The President hopes that this will be the beginning of a concrete collaboration between AS Luiss and UPMC Salvator Mundi. A synergy that will generate value in the activities of both companies".
