11° UPMC Annual Radiotherapy Symposium

“QUO VADIS – Technological Innovation and Clinical Outcomes” is the title of UPMC’s Annual Radiotherapy Symposium, now in its eleventh edition. The event will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, in Rome.

This free event, limited to a maximum of 100 participants, offers a valuable opportunity for discussion on the latest technological advancements in radiotherapy and their impact on clinical outcomes.

Scientific Directors

The scientific directors of the event are:

Artificial Intelligence and Clinical Innovation: New Frontiers in Medicine

The 2025 Symposium aims to serve as a platform for discussion and in-depth analysis of the transformative impact that artificial intelligence is having —and will continue to have— on clinical practice.

The event seeks to foster a shared reflection on the integration of new technologies into patient diagnosis, treatment, and care pathways, with a particular focus on key areas such as medical imaging, radiotherapy, precision oncology, and radiobiology.

The rapid evolution of AI and related technologies demands a continuous commitment from the scientific and clinical communities in terms of education and dissemination. Now more than ever, it is essential to promote a multidisciplinary dialogue that can help build a shared vision of emerging clinical horizons, defining common and sustainable goals for the near future.

Through contributions from national and international experts, the Symposium will offer insights, real-world applications, and concrete perspectives to guide innovation in the service of care quality and effectiveness.
